To maximize your progress in this course, you will also receive 3 mock exam papers. Your tutor will review these papers and offer valuable feedback to help prepare you for your Functional Skills Level 2 online exams.

Modules Covered

English Component:

Reading – This Functional Skills Level 2 English module looks at reading for information, including looking at biased pieces of work and will help you to work out how much the opinions of certain authors can be trusted. It also looks at the different types of layout features and how these can impact the reader. All of the reading skills that you will look at will be tested in quizzes at the end of each section, followed by a tutor-marked assignment, ensuring that you are ready to sit your final exam
Writing – This Functional Skills Level 2 English curriculum examines appropriate writing techniques for specific pieces. This could contain, among other things, emails, blogs, newspaper articles, and letters. You'll also be tested on your grammar, punctuation, and spelling in this module. Quizzes and tutor-marked tasks at the conclusion of your course make sure you are prepared for your final exam.
Speaking, Listening and Communication – One of the most beneficial and enjoyable aspects of improving English functional skills is the speaking, listening, and communicating (SLC) component. This Functional Skills Level 2 English module provides you with practice for the SLC assessment by demonstrating how to handle common situations both at home and at work. Together with our quizzes and tutor-marked assignments, they will help you become more confident and competent in these situations and prepare you for the SLC assessment.

Maths Component:

Handling Data: delves into the manipulation and interpretation of information. Learners will learn techniques for summarizing and presenting data, as well as understanding data shared by others.
