Additionally, they develop the ability to interpret financial statements, make strategic decisions with available resources, and assess business performance.
Upon successfully completing the course, you will attain partial qualification and earn the designation CIMA Adv Dip MA. This achievement marks a significant milestone as you progress toward completing the final stage, CIMA Professional – Strategic Level.

CIMA Professional Qualification Management Exams
The CIMA examinations adopt two assessment formats: objective test and case study exam.
Objective Test
- A 90-minute computer-based assessment for the Management Level.
- Incorporates various question types including numerical entry, short multiple-choice, and drag-and-drop.
- Evaluates all learning outcomes covered in the course.
- Provides immediate computer-generated provisional pass/fail grades, with official results released within 48 hours.
- Available at over 5,000 Pearson Vue Test Centers worldwide.
Case Study
- Concludes the Management Level with an integrated examination of skills, techniques, and knowledge gained across the three subjects.
- Administered four times annually: February, May, August, and November.
- Simulates the role of a Finance Manager, presenting a scenario for you to demonstrate acquired knowledge, techniques, and mindset.
- Marked by a tutor, with results available five weeks after the case study window closes on your MY CIMA account.
