Course Description
The Children & Young People’s Workforce Diploma is perfect for Teaching Assistant’s, LSA’s and any other roles that support children. After the completion of this qualification, it will allow you to progress onto higher responsibilities within your current occupational setting.
After the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma lost its government funding, this qualification is an excellent alternative diploma with modules to help you professionally develop in a role supporting children.
This course is delivered online and will include live online teaching sessions with a tutor.
Modules Covered
In order to complete this course you will need to earn 65 credits from your coursework. In order to earn these credits you will complete 18 units of work.

CYPOP 17 Understand the needs of children and young people who are vulnerable and
experiencing poverty and disadvantage
CYPOP 14 Support children and young people to have positive relationships
TDA 3.16 Support gifted and talented learners
TDA 3.27 Monitor and maintain curriculum resources
HSC 3045 Promote positive behaviour

Eligibility
In order to complete this qualification, you MUST BE:
- Over 19+ years old
- Have lived in the UK/EU for over 3+ years
- Be working in a School as a TA or LSA
