The Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) pertain to employers, employees, self-employed individuals, and duty holders, encompassing all activities involving asbestos-containing materials. Regulation 10 of CAR mandates that every employer must ensure adequate provision of information, instruction, and training for employees potentially exposed to asbestos. This encompasses maintenance workers and others likely to encounter or disturb asbestos. 

In addition to educating candidates about the hazards of asbestos work, this Asbestos Awareness for Architects and Designers E-learning Course will provide content aimed at helping them identify asbestos-containing materials. It will raise awareness of its widespread usage, offer strategies to minimize risks, and discuss relevant legislation governing asbestos work.
