Course Description

In December 2008, the Food Standards Agency established the National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, which is now operational across Wales, Northern Ireland, and 99% of England. 

The scheme aims to ensure that businesses compliant with food laws and effectively managing food safety risks receive a rating of three, while those excelling in risk management achieve ratings of four or five. However, significant lapses in any scoring criteria can adversely impact the final rating.
