Course Description
This qualification will allow you to achieve higher level teaching assistant status to reach your next level. It is fully flexible and can be completed at a pace that suits you. Upon completion, you will be deemed to be a higher-level teaching assistant and will be equipped to teach classes on your own and provide cover when required.
Delivery:
- The program can be completed in a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 1 year, with an estimated study time of around 87 hours.
- Learners are allowed two attempts to meet the criteria.
- Feedback on assignments will be provided in writing within 7 working days of submission.
- A designated line manager, supervisor, or qualified individual is required to provide formal testimonies.
- Certificates will be issued upon achievement.
- Upon enrollment, each participant will be assigned an instructor who will assess and provide feedback on their assignments.

Eligibility
This course is fully funded by your employer and is available to anyone who falls within the eligibility requirements below:
- Must be working within a current Teaching Assistant role
- Achievement of the Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or indication of fundamental proficiency through completion of a skills assessment scan is required.
- Must have GCSE in Maths and English
- (Recommended) Individuals with extensive experience as a TA, but lacking formal qualifications, may still be considered based on their experience (with a minimum of 5 years). A letter of confirmation from the school is necessary in such cases.
