Our Courses Explained

Level 2 Courses

A Level 2 qualification is an educational credential awarded to learners who successfully complete a course at this level. In the UK, it is equivalent to GCSEs and is widely recognised by employers and educational institutions as proof of essential skills and knowledge.

These qualifications can serve as a stepping stone to further education, training, or career opportunities, helping individuals progress in their chosen field or improve their job prospects.

Our Level 2 qualifications are accredited by NCFE CACHE, and the time they take to complete will typically range from between 6-12 weeks.

These courses are available provided you meet the below criteria, and there is funding available in your area. Learn more about how these courses are free and how funding works here.

Level 2 eligibility:

  • You MUST currently be living in England.
  • You MUST have been a resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years.
  • You MUST be aged 19+ years old.
  • You MUST NOT currently be enrolled on another government-funded qualification.

Level 3 Courses

We have several free level 3 courses available for you to study.

These are available and fully funded through the government's 'Free Courses For Jobs' scheme. These qualifications are the equivalent of an advanced technical certificate, diploma or A-level.

These courses have been designed to help improve your career prospects and boost your income. Some studies suggest a level 3 qualification can increase your income by as much as 16%.

However, their eligibility criteria are slightly different to level 2's and will be dependent on the college you are enrolling with:

An example of some eligibility criteria you MAY have to meet is below:

  • You MUST currently be living in England.
  • You MUST have been a resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years.
  • You MUST be aged 19+ years old.
  • You MUST NOT be currently enrolled on another government-funded qualification.
  • You MAY need to complete an initial Maths and English assessment.
  • You MAY only be able to study if you have not yet gained a Level 3 qualification.
  • You MAY need to work in the industry to which the qualification is applied.

Level 3 qualifications are significantly longer, lasting upwards of 18 months, but with this increased timeframe you will receive a higher level of certification.

    Paid Courses

We offer the opportunity to purchase individual courses where personalised learning is involved. These courses undergo thorough quality assessment checks to guarantee they meet educational standards and remain current with industry practices.

A paid course is more specific and provides comprehensive learning experiences that encompass every aspect of a subject, equipping learners not only with theoretical understanding but also with practical skills pertinent to their field.

How are these courses different to the rest of the offerings?

Paid qualifications often involve structured coursework, assessments, and sometimes exams, leading to a specific recognised certification upon successful completion. They are usually pursued to enhance career prospects or gain specialised knowledge in a particular field. Amongst all the types of qualifications offered at The AIM Group, these courses lead to a more formal and industry-specific certification.

Some of the benefits of paid courses include:

    • They offer a more structured and comprehensive learning experience.
    • They may have more content and features than free courses.
    • You may have access to more support, such as live instruction and tutoring.
    • They can be a more valuable investment for your career.

    Is there finance options?

Yes, we offer finance plans on courses between the prices of £50 and £3500. Our finance plans run from 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, pay your way and start learning immediately.
