LEVEL 3 | EDUCATION COURSE | 16-20 WEEKS (DEPENDENT ON LEARNER ABILITY)

About the Course

This Level 3 qualification will provide you with in-depth knowledge about the role of a playworker, specifically when working with children and young people between the ages of 4 to 16. You will understand how to manage play environments and how to manage other within your team. This qualification will also cover the knowledge and skills needed to be able to work unsupervised, a must-have for anyone looking to work within a playwork setting.

This qualification is suited to anyone currently working within a playwork setting who has a knowledge and understanding of children and young people, as well as the principles of playwork.

This course is fully funded and is available to anyone who falls within the eligibility requirements below: 

• You have not yet received a Level 3 qualification or higher (equivalent to an A-level or higher).
• Age 19+ .
• EU / UK Resident for 3+ years.
• You MUST be working within a playwork setting.
• You will be required to have achieved Level 1 English and Maths.
and achieved Level 2 English and Maths tests prior to completion.
A willingness to continue to develop personal ICT skills to a level in-line with the LST role
