Functional Skills English Component:

It also looks at the different types of layout features and how these can impact the reader. All of the reading skills that you will look at will be tested in quizzes at the end of each section, followed by an assessor-marked assignment, ensuring that you are ready to sit your final exam
Writing – This Functional Skills Level 2 English curriculum examines appropriate writing techniques for specific pieces.
